DH & DD dropped off the van for it's billion $ bearing overhaul, and then waited for me to pick them up. After I got them we decided to cross the street and get CiCi's Pizza for dinner. I saw that DH had put a slice of pizza on his plate that had several jalapeno peppers on it. I decided not to lecture him about eating stoopidly.
A few minutes later the corners of his mouth were raw red and he was gasping for air in a drama llama manner, so I laughed. Turns out he thought those were regular bell peppers. I laughed more.
He had indegestion and I offerred a Tums but he declined. I pointed out that he really ought to neutralize some of that before it descended into the intestinal tract but he thought he'd be fine.
I told him that if he burned a hole in the sheets while passing gas, I was not repairing them. And that when I heard the first rumbles of discontent I'd be moving to the sofa for the night.

So DH slept on the sofa and I had the bed to myself all night long.
