I live in a subdivision and have hit the max for things DH will build that are structural. He did build me some way cool temp enclosures though, that I can move around the yard. He was tired of seeing me use wood scrap for this purpose, and doesn't want me using his tools LOL
So to keep from having ghetto-style pens, he built some slick ones from 1x1 and plastic chicken netting. They are beautiful and work like a charm.... as long as the sun is out.

And why don't we have pics of said pens so we can see them? Maybe I want to make one...

Because I've had them for 2 days, and its rained on both days. I've used the pens for 4 hours.

But I'll try to get pics this weekend. I still owe Beaner pics of the Beaner Brooder in action....

My Mom just called and asked me if I'd bring my homemade cheese cake and some chicken poop for easter!

Which for some wierd reason reminded me that ALGAEs' birthday is Sunday, sooooooooo

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY ALGAE!!!!!!!!!!

4 coats of KILLZ. And that is AFTER I scrubbed the wall and took a razor blade to it.

Do you love the spill line from the bench?

I was scraping off goo as I went--the Killz seemed to soften the yuck enough for me to get it off. I would be rolling along, see a bump, get it with my nail, and be like, "When did we have BBQ sauce?"

That was a crazy line. Are you ausre it wasn't a quesidilla?

And people question why I put laminate type stuff on my walls as a "treatment" in the kitchen and dining area. Because it's easily washed, dur.
