btw, it was neither. I moved my leg the wrong way. My left knee is the "money maker" (ie, the leg I use to clutch and drive) and it sometimes is more tender after driving a truck with a stiff clutch.

I'm actually really lucky, both my sisters have horribly bad knees. They both blew their knees out in high school playing sports.

Mine didn't start to bother me until I quit driving for a while and then went back.
