I hope everyone is safe and sound this morning. Those storms were WICKED!!!

I told Beaner that if I heard about a house landing on a witch, I'd let ya'll know of her unfortunate demise. But she forgot to wear her striped socks yesterday and therefor got home safely.

We had golf ball sized hail. DH was a wreack over the roof damage. He's out there assessing any damage. He argued with me that it couldn't be THAT bad, and then I found the 'ice cubes' in the yard when I went to move a broody and her chicks. I darted out between storms, moved the birds to a drier, safer location, grabbed DH a few lawn cubes, and then ran back inside before the next set of storm clouds jumped on us. And the ice chunks WERE cube-shaped! It was weird.

Power was out for hours. I don't kno how many hours because I passed out at 10pm.
There were 20 chicks in a candle-warmed bathroom by then, the most recent bator babies (Easter hatch). Callie was nuts, wanting to be in there to keep an eye on the fuzzies.

I had a bowl of ham n beans for breakfast, with a cold glass of orange Kool Ade. Now I gotta get dressed, check on all the birds, and hit the road. Another busy day <sigh>

I'm tired, but I'm very thankful that we're all safe and sound here. Many people in AL, GA & TN can't say that. My heart goes out to them. It was a very scary night.

Yep I am all fine and dandy.....everything appeared okay at my place, no obvious damage at least.

We had over 12 straight hours of tornado warnings. It was sure a crazy day yesterday.

And you know the pocky clips has hit when I am 45 minutes EARLY for work.

Hiya! I see my dog's exploits have made the OW thread. Naughty naughty precious!

Glad you gals south of us are doing ok. It was windy and rainy but nothing terrifically awful up this way. Although rumor has it there was a tornado touch down. But I think that was the panic talking.

My friend's restaurant caught fire last night. Don't know if it was lightening or something else. They weren't open this morning when I got off work.

Debi, I realize I have a lot of "P" named animals. Pumpkin is the horse. Precious is the dog.

Good morning, I see everyone made it through the rough weather yesterday. Headline in today's paper "Storms Kill 72 Across South". We got some high winds and rain, nothing serious, although we did get some of yall's cool weather. It is 59 here this morning, I love it.

Hope everyone has a great day today.

What is with people and bleach?????

"you could try putting bleach on just the sole (a empty saline soulution bottle filled with bleach makes a easy dispenser) to toughen up her sole. Try not to get bleach on heel or frog. "
