The worst of the storms for our area passed about 15 miles the south of me. They had golf-ball hail and a few tornados touched down. I haven't checked the news to hear how bad it was. We've had some massive thunderstorms dump a lot of rain on us, but we're safe.

I just planted some seeds, so I'm glad of the rain. On the other hand, I wasn't finished mixing compost into the soil and it's going to to be a pain to move it all waterlogged now.

My BFF called me this morning. Her Am Staff terrier Bruiser died last night. He got into a porcupine on Tuesday night, went to the vet yesterday a.m. and they thought they got them all...he must have had an internal one that went to either the heart or the lung. I feel so badly for them and I am sure going to miss Bruiser, he was a sweetie.

Mornin boo...
No, the new house has a furnace. I kind of like boiler radiant heat...it doesn't suck the moisture out of the air like those air throwers. I'm gonna miss my boiler. I know why the radiator leaked....cough cough Ava cough. She kept leaning against it so where the copper pipe butted up to the flange...or screw thingy...it got weak and sprung a leak, probably like the size of a finger nail and that skinny. Not a huge one but enough to make the water seep out and then when my friend's dad came to see if we tightened the screw if it would fix that leak...it just got worse and opened up more. That's when we knew it was a hole as opposed to just needing to tighten it. drats.

Your mom's house sounds like a nice lil stead to be.
