My garlic is trying to breed. I pulled about 30 scapes last night (I think that's what you call them). Didn't want to waste, so I trimmed off the tough parts, sauteed the rest in butter and then boiled the results in water that I added to my pinto bean & ham pot. It was yummy.
The results of eating pinto beans for breakfast and lunch are starting to make themselves noticed. I had oatmeal for dinner last night to try and balance the universe.
Going away for the rest of the day. Got lots to do, as well as storm damage patrol.
