The little one keeps measuring his whoowhoodilly with daddy's tape measure: the heavy duty one. He's already cut the webbing in his hand once, you'd think he'd keep that thing away from his #1 possession.

Also, he is chanting "2 inches, 2 inches" which can't possibly be related to said measuring. Or maybe it is, he IS his father's son.

Shane processed the meaties last night.

I asked him to put down Henna, the forever-sick turkey hen. NOTHING has made her better. Since my tom was killed, she's cried non-stop, and pretty much given up.

The last few days she's been looking really really bad.

So I asked shane to put her down.

This morning I found her dead, stiff as a darn board. I had a VERY hard time stuffing her in a bag without the kids seeing. It breaks my heart I let her suffer so long.

Now we have one turkey hen left, who is sad but healthy.

If this batch of poults I am hatching isn't heathly, I am giving up on turkeys. Our space is too small to keep them seperated if one gets the sniffles.

Laree, I gave up on turkeys and 2 inches years ago.......one may or may not be related to the other.

I was thinking about getting some turkeys. Might be neat.

Had taco bell for lunch. Part of their sign blew off last night lol. Put a pic on fb for all to see....

Stressing stressing stressing....also, drank 2 cups of coffee before lunch and half a huuuuuge coke zero. Now drinking dr pepper. Might be twitching. Maybe.

Going to have a Lean Cuisine for lunch, but I may wash it down with a cherry Coke. I am feeling all weepy today and that is SO unlike me. Not sure what is wrong. Not even close to that time of the month.

Orchy is broody again. Nesting yesterday, random crying jags today? Broody.
