I know this is not a foodie forum but, I have to share a yummy recipe idea I had never heard of until this morning, "kale chips". They are certainly not potato chips but, they sure are good. I covered mine in coconut oil before I baked them, (most recipes call for olive oil), and I sprinkled them with salt and "Slap Ya Mama" (a delectable Cajun seasoning from Louisiana we put on "everything") after they came out of the oven.
So, if you have an abundance of kale in the garden, pull some leaves and get crackin. Silly me I planted a whole flat of kale amongst my spider wort and they have taken over the whole garden (it's pretty though)...
