Sigh. Annika is tiny. Charlotte is tiny. Stephanie - 6 yo - is skinny minny yet, but holy cow, she is over the 95 percentile on height. She's going to hit 6 ft at this rate.

I'm first today

Years ago, we flew to Puerto Rico, from CA, and at the hotel bar, we met a neighbor that lives about two miles away.

Another time, DH flew on a small plane, I forget where, but again, a neighbor on the plane with him.

He's doing well. He will be back in June for his two weeks of drill at Camp Shelby. This trip he will take some vacation days and then hit the road. It sure is nice when they grow up and find work they enjoy.

Now to get the daughter graduated...

There are multiple verses to the song. But my memory ain't what it used to be....

I have to train my temporary replacement at some point today. So I prolly won't be able to spend a lot of time OWPDPMing.

Before I go, I did want to mention that it seems like a lot of my friends are very unhappy these days for the same reason. I got a text Saturday from a non-drama queen friend asking me to pray for her. After a long talk last night, seems her spouse of the past 5 years has decided the marriage is over and wants to take her house of the past 15 years because he paid for renovations last year. She is devastated. More so over the house than the man, so I think she will be okay.
And since the house is only in her name, she has proof she pays all bills from her salary, and she's lived there with her sons for the past 15 years, I think she'll be allright in the long run. He's been on disability and, ironically, the case was finally won and he has $ again. So NOW he wants to kick her to the curb?
She's a smart lady, and is now getting her paperwork in order to prove he's a sponge and she's stable and he has no rights to the house.

I told her she can cry if she wants, but only if its because she lost something that used to be special. But she's not allowed to cry over him. He's soooo not worth it.


And then I gave Jim extra hugs and kisses because he helped me wash and slice 4 quarts of strawberries last night because he didn't want me up all night doing it myself. And he fixed the ramps to my chicken runs because the ledge was letting water run into the coop during storms.
And because even though he fights with DD, she gives as good as she gets and its starting to sound more like sibling bickering than real animosity.
He's also going to build some collapsable cages for taking to poultry shows.

Nothing much going on in crazy land here. I did have to verbally smack a drama llama fool. She was 100% sure that Justice Clarence Thomas was appointed by a Democrat because only Democrats support sex fiends. Erm, yeah, ok.

1 - Fool, he's one of the most conservative judge on the bench. Dur.
2 - Republicans have scandals all the time also. Dur.
3 - and the real reason to smack her down - NO POLITICS AT WORK! Dur.
