I'd probably still give them eggs, but much less than they want, like 1/2 dozen a week and only if I had
a lot to spare. I certainly wouldn't clean out my fridge and give them everything I had, leaving nothing for myself only to find out they're throwing away half of what you give them. To be mildly vindictive, lets say you have a few eggs that had really dirty, poopy shells...you washed them off, but you know those shells were really icky at one point and maybe you'd rather not eat them. I'd make sure they get those eggs. Or maybe eggs from the hen whose prone to laying eggs with blood spots.
My brother (fitness nut and military guy) used to eat egg-white only breakfasts and I would lecture him about throwing away the best part of the egg. I have a degree in Animal Science and I tried explaining to him how it's the most complete protein and ounce for ounce more protein than meat, etc, etc. I also used to tell him whole milk was better for him than skim and butter was better than margerine, but he thought he knew better than me. When he was visiting my house, he wasn't allowed to throw away yolks and I didn't buy margerine or skim milk, so he didn't get those either, but he was on his own at his own house.
Years later he went back to school and was taking some class, I'm not even sure what it was, but the instructor went on and on about whole foods and how much better they are than processed foods, etc, etc. Big Brother had the decency to call me and tell me I was right.
He even piped up in the class that his sister had been telling him that for years!
