That's what vinegar is for. Green and doesn't leave weird chemicals behind.

Thats what I keep telling her! But her drinking the coffee and cleaning the coffee pot could be whats attributing to her stupidity, though I personally think its genetic.

Algae have smashed the phone to tiny bits yet?

58 calls, no. But I am off the main line now at least.

Could it be both genetics and the chemicals?

Beaner, re: cages (which are nice looking) I'm a free range kind of person and don't have rabbits but, is that all the room they get? Do you stick them outside to run around?

Ha, I'm ready to start spittin blood, I'm so aggravated.

You know I may turn into an idiot. I could stay home and make annoying phone calls. To be fair about it though, I could just randomly open the phone book and pick a number. I do not want to be here today.

I've already polished off my breakfast, my lunch and have moved from coffee to full sugar root beer. Next is the oreo cookie and whipped cream calorie disaster one of the volunteers dropped off. Probably has 1,000 calories per mouthful. I think I'll have a bowl full. Maybe just eat it all.

Phone isn't ringing though. Probably a good thing. I do not feel nice today.

I have chicks hatching.
big_smile.png

I woke up to 6 chicks this morning. I forgot when they were due, so I never set them up for lockdown. I woke up to my husband asking me, "Did you know you have chicks in your incubator?" They were still on the turner and the incubator is probably bone dry. It's a Brinsea, so I was able to take them off the turner cradle - poor things were probably getting dizzy! They seem to be hatching fine, so I don't want to open the incubator and wreck what humidity they've gotten from the eggs hatching.

I hatched them to sell at the swap this weekend. They're my own special brand of ugly chicks from my own pens - Buff Showgirl rooster over Frizzled Easter Eggers, Welsummers and Silkie/Cochin bantams. I kept one of these bizarre creatures that a broody hatched out this past winter - she's standard sized, black-skinned, 5 toes, feathered legs, naked neck, crested and frizzled. I'll try to get some pictures.

Mine are all in 24x24 all-wire cages, unless I have a doe with a litter, then she gets a bigger cage. Mine get to run around on the ground when the kids are playing with them - I have a special "playpen" for them to run around in, but they don't get time in it every day.

Belle - How have you been? And your little one?

Good Evening Ladies and Gents,
Gosh I am sick of school work - from now on I consider it my job...
