I got really really bored...

Worse, you were bored, with my phone number... I think I told you 3/4th of my college stories just to keep you amused.

Thanks chelle! bow...that is SOOOO adorable...I need one. I bought a wee wittle chandelier yesterday at Lowes when I got my shed/coop ordered and a new not so heinous ceiling fan that doesn't look like it's from the 80's. I just didn't tell you about all the things I bought so you wouldn't think I'm Miss Money bucks cuz I'm not...I got help from granny...cept it's getting withdrawn from her monetary gift she's gifting everyone but I'm trying to savor and save most of it for repairs I need for the new house...namely well, my pool needed to get clean and I needed a pool lesson on upkeep since I'm new to it all,

I'll need someone to look at my air cond., I needed appliances that fit the space, ran on gas, and well---work...I forgot, repair guy doesn't come until the 8th...I got ahead of myself but the parts got sent to the house today via UPS, and lets see...the house will need painting soon, and well, the front porch has soft spots--like fall through if your bigger than a 10 year old..... sigh....I hope I can budget all of this. Oh yeah, then my divorce has been getting deducted out of last years gift...buh bye money that could have been spent more gleefully then with a nasty "d" word. ew...g shudders.

I'm supposed to be in my pool cleaning more green off the bottom and I was supposed to poor this product in last night but unfortunately, I made a boo boo and never turned off my hose so when we went shopping yesterday I came back and my pool was over flowing so I had to quick turn hose off, and turn on backwash on pump and drain the stinkin thing some...at that point, 5 year old was howling about not getting a balloon at red robin cuz they were out and the car ride was 30 min. of ticked off nonsense and then some and then it got dark right quick so I couldn't go in and scrub the green floor and then put product in in the dark....so I failed. It took a while of calming down from a day of touchy, complain,y pissy, stomp feet and hide under store display, not listen to mommy and keep touching the esculator rail anyway and getting dirty looks from store people, so hot lets lay on the lowes parking lot instead of getting in the car to get the air turned on and throw a fit that the car is too hot, scream I'm hungry after not eating the food that was presented to you before the shopping trip and then pick at the food that was ordered at red robin and then get home and scream---I'M HUNGRYYY! and cry and moan and moan and cry....wait.... where was I going with this?

Oh yeah, so after I got the pool to stop running like a waterfall and Ava calmed down in order for me to speak...we sat on the grass...the heat and settled some and we had a pretty decent talk about behavior, obeying parents, being good sisters and sticking together and being there for each other and helping each other out especially since mommy won't always be there to try to make things ok....(gearing them up for daddy's visit June 25-Aug. 6) and how God and Jesus made everything--the moon, the trees, and each one of us and how they love us very much and how God told mommy to raise my kids to be good kids and have good behavior...He knows we won't always be good but He wants us to try real hard so quit makin it so &%^%%*^%!!! hard on mommy.

And I asked Ava since God made mommy to be in charge of her and Zoe and since mommy has been on this earth to know more things than my kids so I can help teach them and guide them that they needed to trust me that the things I say are true...playing with the esculator rail is not safe--it can pinch your finger and rip it off and that's why the store people were giving us dirty looks because they want children to behave and not do dangerous things because it's JUST LIKE the time Ava climbed up the WRONG side of the stairs at the library and the librarian yelled at us and told us we could not come in the library if we were going to misbehave.... So I asked, do you know everything mommy knows Ava? She said, yes.

So I asked her...do you know all the names of the planets? Do you know how to make pancakes? Do you know what 650 x 1 is????

ha ha ha ha...I tried not to make it too hard on myself in case I got called out on it.

I am seeing the massage therapist, then the chiropractor, then I'm running off to a chicken friends house. She hosted a big potluck BBQ for the Farm and Garden Co-op on Saturday and I took about 300 pictures, I promised I'd deliver a copy so she could email the appropriate ones to the appropriate people. And she wants to show her place to her friends and family out of state but was too busy playing hostess. It was an awesome BBQ, about 45-60 people (depending on the comings and goings) lots of great food, got to meet a bunch of local chicken, goat and farmer types I've only ever talked to online. They even gave a clinic on chicken, duck and turkey processing. Started with a demonstration and then audience participation. I learned a lot of cool tricks.

They had one of these, it plucked two large (6 lb-ish) chickens in 15 SECONDS

That's the worst part of processing birds - feather plucking. That's the main thing that keeps me from processing my own birds. Lazy, I know.

We skinned ours. Since neither of us like the skin, we skipped the plucking, and skinned them.

Well...the good thing is we can see bottom of pool now and all leaf debris piles are out....the green on the bottom of the pool is still to be reckoned with and pool guy says even the brush is having a time scrubbing it off....sooo...I saw these little mit things for cleaning the pool that were here with the pool stuff pile...I plan on jumpin in the pool...putting the mits on my feet and grabbing the brush and scrubbing with my feet and brushing with my arms.... now that I can see the bottom....it will help to know where I need to focus on.

Sooo....here I go....

Well my busy day just went crazy.

Once apon a time, my old roommate, and Shane's rival, used to work at HD. He told me when they had plants that were dying, or not selling, or the distributer wouldn't accept back, they would just leave them out front until someone stole them. Well...Shane and I are well known at our Home Depot. He's a GC, and I am one of 4 women then see who doesn't look lost. There was a pallet of sod sitting out by the display sheds, and had been sitting there for 2 weeks. I asked the garden attendant if it was trash, or an abandonded order or what? She was all snippy. So I said, "Can you please call Brian and ask?"

"Brian who?" she snapped. (really, should older ladies working customer service EVER snap at someone with a kid as cute as mine?)

"Mr. Davis? The manager? He has a goatee, chases my kids around, and I drew his tats?"

....anyway, she and a nice hottie ended up loading a whole pallet of sod into the back of my minivan. I was able to cover my entire run FOR FREE!!!! I know the chickens will just kill it, but I still like to think I tried.

Yeah for useful men in high places. Sadly all of my former flames are just as useless now as they were then.
