/sigh

I'm trying very hard to be sensiable. With planning on moving, I really shouldn't get any new birds this year. still, a few quail wouldn't hurt right? (seriously if mine start laying again i'm going to sneak down the bator...)

Haven't bred them yet, but they are both small. Puff is TINY. I think they would make adorable TINY babies.

Went to a rabbit show this morning. Rex's are pretty boring, lionheads are SOOO CUTE, Netherland Dwarfs are TOOO CUTE, and Californians are beautiful. Didn;t care for the dutch so much, but I did love the mini holland lops.

And I FINALLY got to meet Paul Lee, a local franch angora breeder that I have been playing email tag with for over a month now. He taught me how to hand spin my yarn and I came home with the tool and a big bag of wool to practice with.

Fun morning!!!!

my mocha's a rex, with them the fun is in holding them, it's like snuggling velvet. Spinning is on the shortlist of things i'd like to pick up.

I can't afford a wheel and all the hand spinnning stuff I find online looked really hard. This tool is a piece of cake!!!!
