My two week vacation is over.

Father's Day, DH got some Lego kits he wanted. I rolled my eyes something serious, but that's all he wanted, so he got Legos. SFIL and MIL came over for dinner, the men grilled and enjoyed themselves. Works for me.

I'm crabby and miserable today. Baby Jacob decided to stay up most of the night, rotten little bugger. As far as I can tell there was no reason for it - no sign of teething, no fever, so sign of sickness, eating normally - just cranky and not wanting to sleep. I finally went to bed at 3:30am and he woke up at 5:30am

I am not a pleasant person when I don't get enough sleep. I got the baby down for a nap at 10am and was just drifting off myself, when DH calls.

WHY???? He knew I needed a nap AND he didn't have anything important to say. Grrr.

I think I have to put down my Polish hen from internal laying. She hasn't laid an egg in about a year, although she sits in the nestbox regularly. Recently she's been waddling around with a hugely swollen belly and just doesn't look healthy anymore.
