3 years old is prime. I wouldn't consider that old at all. I missed the post where you mentioned she had postpartum troubles. I didn't try to catch up on posts while I was on vacation (I'm a slacker, I know.) I've never had something like that happen, so hopefully it was a one-off experience for you. How well did you trust the seller? They may have pawned off a less-than-desireable breeder on you.
If she were mine, I'd try at least once more and see what happened. Good idea to breed a buddy at the same time, just incase. She looks like a great mama, so that's a big plus.

Michelle is one of the the most amazing people - she's not shy at all, so no akwardness at all when you meet her. We did a lot of talking. She has some great stories. She brought me LOTS of chocolate when she came. She's a great cook and has a good singing voice. But do NOT let her drive anywhere, she has a lead foot.
