Take a better picture so I can see. I wonder if it is just a mixed color.....probably has some harlequin genetics in there which accounts for the orange stripes. Breeder was just talking about that...said if you dont breed those genes out, you end up with a GREAT colored bunny who then has a darn stripe across its back.

It is definitely not a recognized color. Still cute though!

The only thing I know about bunnies is they are tasty eating. And Beaners and Debi's bunnies come with floss attached.

But breeding ages? Our does, I aim for 7-8 months old, I've found they are just healthier overall long term. Then 3 litters a year for 2 years, then they are spayed and go to a pet home. I keep the best does, then get a new buck and repeat

It works for us.

I need to find someone in town that raises meat rabbits, but after I find one, you'll never hear about it again.

What? Bunnies is yummy.

But they arent for me. THe lady who took my DH's flower wants to start raising them.

PS: I love how the DH's umpteen ex-girlfriends have my phone # and call me for advice and parties and stuff.

You were with my husband before me? SURE! I'd love to buy you baby-shower gifts!
