Good morning all!

Its 5 am and I have already walked 3 miles, and been on the eliptical.

Although the eliptal was a bit of a poor showing. I was already pretty tired.

Now that just sucks that you were stuck with THAT decision to make!!! Ugh.

I haven't heard back, so I hope that means they found a home that could keep them all together. I thought of those poor kids all night.

I need to go to the classes. Will sign up tomorrow. We would be drowning, but we have the room and the time.

Why would you be drowning?

I suspect going from 2 kids under 6 to 6 kids, 5 of them under 5, would cause for some serious child-rearing shock.

But we'd adapt.

Bowwow- did you send eggs yet? I am finding two of my calendars are marked differently. DOH!

Silly girl you didnt give me your address but I can send them out tomorrow if you like. I was just gonna try to include a few extra exztras LOL.

Belle I want to be a foster parent to high risk babies (babies that have HIV, crack addicted etc). I have the experience from working in NICU and a nursery. When the babies that no one wanted would be in the nursery I'd go up and cuddle them, I always felt so bad for them because no one wanted them because they were high risk. DH says absolutely NOT. He will not fall in love with a child and then have social services come in and move them. I try to tell him that at least they would have been loved and cared for while we had them and that it could make all the difference in their lives but he says he just couldnt emotionally handle it. I have to respect him for that.

In other news I might have to kill idiot number one she wont stay away from me today.

Good morning to everyone and Hello to everyone new to the OW thread! (didnt want to seem rude LOL)

Our first placement was 6 years old, but she had been a crack baby and when I had her, she was in treatment for cancer, so it was quite a busy time. She went on to get adopted and is currently in full remission.

It was so hard to let her go, but I wasn't ready to adopt her myself. It is heart wrenching, but it does make a huge difference to those kids.

DSS called me back, they were able to place the 3 girls, but needed a home for the 4yo boy and asked us if we would please take him. So congratulate me, I'm now a mother of 5.

The social workers are on their way to the home right now to remove the children and will drop off our new boy in the next few hours.
