like i said, wahooo...my powers back on...but WHY oh why are my mom's pants and undies in my bathtub???

So I go out to one of the next towns over with my Bible study ladies to one of thier parents ice cream shops and we get some icecream and have some giggles...on the way home we realize the 3 towns have gone black...waah...I get dropped off at my mom's house so she can drive me back to my house because I'm not driving in this heat without windows rolling down and no air...so I get to mom's and find out from my neice that grandma is at my house...i tell her to come get me and bring me home...so she does...well, we sit at mom's house and wait for my sister so my teen neice doesn't sit in the dark by herself (esp. after someone tried to break into the neighbors condo over the 4th) and my mom falls asleep so my sis and neice bring me home. I go to the bathroom and to my HORROR I see grannies panties and her pants she was wearing earlier in my tub....so it made me wonder...what was she wearing to get back home since she was at my house organizing my tupperware? yes...she waws putting lids and bottoms together....tee hee...no pun intended.

she must have had a sneezing fit...that's all i can think...but still wrap those babies up in a plastic sack and take em with you...i don't care the lights went out and why the heck is a box of crud knocked over in the mud porch so i can hardley open the door to get out? and then the dogs are howling cuz they were all freaked out in the dark...and geez...what chaos to come home to.

yes, batty is naughty girl for not checking in...happy to hear she is doing good though.

dacs...that's a steal....bow...go ahead and move to southern illinois.

Sorry, sweetie, but those are not going to be warm enough for a Michigan winter.

I absloutly refuse to wear anything in the snuggie family. or a bathrobe that's not made of silk. So I dropped 800 on a sweater coat, the I figure i'll wear inside during the coldest months, and outside in spring & fall.

Now no one tell mr saddi I spent $800 on a coat that could be replaced by a 19.98 snuggie ok?

She sold almost all of her chickens, even McWheezy (to a young man who LOVES him).
She took her SQ black orp babes and her lavender orp babes with her to WY, as well as all her young SQ silkies. She currently has more roos than hens in silkies, and is thinking she might try to fix that later in the year. She also has her sights on a SQ lav orp breeder in CA. She wanted eggs from the lady earlier in the year, but knew the hatch rate wouldn't be high enough to justify the cost of the eggs. Now that she's closer, she's thinking she'll take a chance on it this spring.

I was rather thin 2 years ago, now, not so much. but not a whole lot of 1-handed cardio. since type 2 diabeeties runs thru the family (we're talking normal size 8-10 family members not morbidly obese), i'll prob. do the gastric bypass before I gain anymore. Of course the practical reason is that i have to stay light enough for mr saddi and my 11 year old to lift me (omg, would someone please give the boy a cupcake, he has a mini 6 pack at 11!)
