Guess what? Today's my divorce! but guess what? they cancelled it...again...and now it's not going to be until next february possibly? boo hiss moan groan hiss boo moan explitives!!!!


Why you might ask? Because they want my current medical records and the dr's office said they didn't get my request...that I drove to thier office and signed and requested...so apparently they lost it. sigh, then my disability case is set for Aug. 12 I just learned...that is if THAT lawyer can get all the stuff she needs by then but basically my x doesn't want to go to court until that hearing takes place since they are so eager to get out of paying any alimony. rat bastards. So in the mean time...I keep struggling with trying to make ends meet with child support...which isn't cutting it.

and then I found one of my ducks chewed on last night and she had a ton of fly eggs on her...so that's what I was doing into the late night last night...washing wounds. She's now in my kitchen in a cage. This happened to the duck that was at my old property still...I noticed last night when I stopped to shut them in the coop and I saw her out of the pen. Poor baby.

but mom and i got some cheapo shelves I need for my office so I can unpack properly...I didn't have anywhere to put my schtuff...books and music...so Big Lots had some expresso colored shelves that are like cubicles...bunch of cubes but one unit. I took 2 at $99 a pop. Soooo much better than the shelves we were looking at Furniture Row...I would have spent nearly $600 there for the size of shelves I needed. So not doing that...don't have the money to. But did find a good shelf to put the stereo and turn table on on sale for $68 there, so got that...and in expresso too so it will match my dark colored desk. (To clarify...this was paid by my mom and I have to pay her back once the house sells...because I really don't have any money...so hoping the house sells quickly...so I can pay back my mom and go back to being broke again. so sad....stupid divorce.)

but in the good news dept.....it rained a lot today. Had such a huge deficit and it has been soooooo hot and muggy. So it's a welcome relief.

G, what is the holdup with all this stuff??? I know divorce and disability seem to take forever to get over with.

I do NOT wanna work today. I would rather play on the puter than focus on board meeting minutes.

Wow Gretch, thats a lot of schtuff. Sorry they postponed it, that bites.

My divorce date was April 4 2007, which is my stepson's bday AND the date that I found my presumed-dead bio dad this year. Its a very eventful date for me.
