I forgot to make hands plural but it's funny so I'm leavin it.

Well, you do only wipe with one hand....

Reminds me when I worked with kids at the elementary school and I would send them to the bathroom for thier break and upon return I would make sure they washed thier hands and they would go through such efforts to try to fool me.... not use soap, so I'd smell their hands or just washing one hand and they never dried them all the way so I'd see one wet hand and one dry...nope, go back and do it again...ding bats...and they thought they were so clever.

Yeah, I got the memo, it's somewhere in this mess. I'll let you know if I find it again. May be in 3 years when I unpack. Or never if I give up and throw out the boxes of crap that's not unpacked from the last move.

We've been here 4 years. I have crap that's still in boxes from the move BEFORE that.
Hello dumpster! And no, my kids really don't often wear hand-me-downs because my kids are hellions who get clothes from Goodwill so they can destroy them instead of nice things to destroy. If a pair of jeans lasts 3 months, I'm celebrating.

I have boxes from San Fransisco, we moved south in 1999.

Hrm, I think I have a few boxes that are from when we moved from PI to SD, so that was in 94. But I think DH considers those important, and thus took them already so I couldn't throw them out.

I don't mind if something IS important and it stays - but how important can ANYTHING be when it's in a box for 17 years????

But in the good news dept. I have 6 garbage bags of sheets and bedding and clothes that I'm donating thus far....see, I can purge? Just don't let me think about it too long or I might change my mind...

ha ha ha...I just realized my mom put them in her car and took off with them... no changing my mind.

Gretch are the just of track or do you need a new window motor? Its easy to fix if its just the track. If its the morot or an electrical issue well then your just s.c.r.e.w.e.d. We gave my DD my 2001 mustang and the windows go off track all the time so she cant put them down, she says it saves her money because she wont go through a drive thru, its to embarrassing to open the car door LOL.

Take the phone into the bathroom with you?

You do NOT want to know how often I spoke to people who did just that. Sickos.

My sister does that to me and I'll hear it flush and be like, did you just go to the bathroom...or even worse is I'll hear her business.

Well, DH and I share a bathroom at home and by share I mean we are in there together, frequently, so no big deal there. And I have had to wait for my BFF while she peed in the yard of a house she thought was unoccupied when it turns out, it wasn't, so I think she owes me.

20 more days until school starts. About 5 more hours before my sanity gives way.

I talked to the social worker yesterday; it looks like we'll have our new foster son until at least the end of September. He hates to be alone, so he spends his whole day following different members of my family around and ordering them to play with him. Being 4, he gets in the middle of everything and wrecks stuff, so he's driving my kids nuts. They spend a lot of time hiding from him. On one hand it's nice to see them united, on the other hand, my house is a war zone, which makes it hard for the baby to nap.

The social worker is going to look into preschool options for him; he desperately needs the stimulation. He's also way behind - he knows his colors - that's about it.

I once had a boss who NEVER washed his hands after using the toilet (flush & run, I could tell). And yet he insisted that I buy plastic tableware for the office kitchen because he was afraid of whatever flu or cold was around at the time. Dumb butt.
