My mom was the kool aid mom when I was in high school. Mine and my brother's friends ALL hung out at our house. All my boyfriends LOVED my mom. It was sometimes irritating that they WANTED to hang out with my parents instead of going out lol.

My son friends loved me too. In fact several of them are FB friends now that they are not "kids" anymore. And they crack me up!!!!

DS#2 kicks my butt sword fighting.

I haven't done swordfighting yet. I like the food slicing thing. Giant sushi rolls amuse me.

Oh, me too!

My son is a little mortified that he finds his friends on my posts. I think it's funny. They are now spread all around the country at college.

Oh, ours have done that also. But it was my kids doing it, they were going INSANELY bored and they really were stuck inside for some reason (I'm thinking it was hail off and on and threatening a tornado for about 72 hours), and they cleaned it up afterwards.

They had a hilarious time sliding all over the floor for a good 3 hours. Made them strip down to ratty old boxers and t-shirts so I could just throw them out afterwards.

Have to go school shopping this weekend in Fargo.

Dread fills the pit of my stomach.

Thank GOD they're young enough to care more about fancy erasers than fancy clothes!

I think I need a Wii then. Giant sushi roll slicing sounds like fun.

We used Pledge and socks.

Sometimes I pledge the bathroom floor and then wait around the corner for kids to come running in and zip acorss the floor

Hrm. *writes that down for further use*

I had NEVER seen my kids and the few friends they had over that bored before, ever. I couldn't throw them outside with the hail threat. I'd just finished doing something in the kitchen and saw the Pam there. Figured it was worth a try.

3 hours of sliding all over the floor, then my floor was cleaned, then they all fell asleep. I saw no problems in that.

Pledge would be ok. Pam however, is sticky. I had to clean the floor with hot water and Dawn about 10 times before it all came up.
