I agree too, and so does pony!!

I am starting to think that one of the times DH banged his leg, it actually broke and he hid the pain and now it has healed wrong.
From all the surgeries, and the initial break, which couldn't be fixed very good, bone graphs and all, it was always weak.

I don't know which time it could of actually broke, he's bumped it several times, where it swelled and got black and blue and very painful.
He could of broke it as long as 5 years ago, or maybe only 6 months ago.

he hates going to the doctor that much.
I felt like, oh my gosh I've been neglecting him, but I blame that neglect on his stubborness.

I've tried several times to get him to go.
yesterday I would not take no for an answer.

That one time, 5 or so years ago, I really tried to take him in, he flat refused and just bared the pain.
His leg had a super BIG knot on it, right at the surgical site, and was really painful, and he just went to work anyway. That may have been when it happened. But then again, I don't know what they see in xray, but to ask, wasn't it set?
That tells me, it may have been broke at some time and healed unset.

I'm scared and feel like

Next time call the ambulance, once they see that, they'll take him in, even if he grumbles.

Men are stubborn and aside from beating them with a big stick they are going to do what they want to do. That's it.

healed wrong since, I believe. He went through five years of surgeries, having plates put in and taken out. It was shattered originally, so they hadn't much to work with, reason for bone graphs off bone hip bones.

Umm, he's 57, so nearly 40 years ago was original accident. last surgery done about 1985.

I am sure doc will be sending him for MRI of the leg, doc said he has to order xray first cuz of insurance.
The scars, the cuttings, the misshape, the muscle atrophy, not much they can do for him.
At one point, in the 70's, they almost amputated his leg, but the infection finally healed.

If he has broken it, and it healed that way, I guess they could rebreak it to set it. I dunno, I don't know where else they could take bone from him to put on tibia, both hip bones are already mutilated.
And the tendon being stuck to his bone, pulling his toes into a curled position

I better stop, cuz I'm gonna
