What ever will you do? All alone, for hours????

Chill the champaign and break out the bubble bath! Are you stocked up on your favorite books, got a pedicure planned?

Well????

Broke! But I can manage a bubble bath. Have some studying to do on some tax lien stuff, have alot of cleaning and stuff to do, and then I'm going to start making soap again. And start exercising at the gym.

I think they look good, Beaner. It looks like mama's feeding them good. If she wasn't their bellies would look like shriveled raisins. They just look small compared to Sqinty - those single babies are always gluttons.

Squinty is the size of a small country.

The little bitty babies are tiny. But they do all look better today. The bigger of the dark ones and the white one have looked pretty good most of the time. Yesterday afternoon I held Fancy and let the scrawny one get a nice meal from her....that seemed to give him strength as this morning when I checked before I left, they all had bellies from the morning feeding. So hopefully, he has gotten past the hump. I think when he fell out of the cage and got stolen by the cat and laid in the hallway for an hour or two, he not only missed his meal but got cold and weak and then missed the next meal because he wasnt strong enough to beat away the others.

Fancy doesnt seem to have tons of milk either...I have started giving her alfalfa and calf manna with her pellets so maybe it will improve. She hasn't been bred in at least 4 months if not longer, so she may have taken a day or two to get back in the swing of things? She is doing fine now.

Timothy hay - Alfalfa is bad for thei digestive system, well added alfalfa is. Pellets have just the right amount.

I usually give grass hay......but I have alfalfa for the nursing moms and younguns.....I thought you were supposed to do alfalfa for them when young and grass hay later?

Off to The Google!

<----- Jealous!!!

This was going to be my year- Jackie, Matthew and Ella would all be in school. I could've been free!!!!! But I had a baby instead. He's adorable and I love him, but I was almost free. I told DH I guess God didn't want me to go back to work.

If I can't get back to work soon Ima gonna lose what few marbles I have left.

I opened this window to type so long ago I can't remember what I was going to say.

I think I'm going to go home and cook a lovely steak, and yes, there WILL be wine with that. Maybe out in the pasture, where all I can hear is the chickens

and the occasional odd turkey

Because I don't have any turkeys that aren't odd.
