There's a difference. At 118 I CANNOT go outside for even 5 minutes without recovery time.
When I lived in the high sierras, thrid degree burns on people hands were normal from not remembering to cover their hand when opening a car door. 120 there easy. But yeah, to me, once it's 105 or hotter, I can;t breathe outside. And there is a slight wind here and it is just swirling the hot air around. Like standing by a blow dryer. Gross.
The heat index here is a balmy, 115. It rained for about five minutes. The steam is coming off everything like a tea kettle. Call it a wet sauna!
Debi, we want brownies! Yum.
McFly, a double dog dare? Wow. Will have to get serious about training. But first! An adult beverage to ponder it all.
