Lisa is in the Himalayas, blows a tire, has a broken jack. Finally she gets another trucker to stop, but she doesn't speak Hindi. So she is asking for a jack, and making these pantomimes....and the other truckers are just laughing and laughing....

just got shredded by the cats. stupid cats. God forbid I should trim their nails since they are all getting stuck to everything. I am now bleeding thankyouverymuch. Norman is perfect of course. Mr Toes is hateful after a couple nails (and he has a million) so I had to stop and will do a few more later. Lucy becomes a tasmanian devil. My leg is bleeding, my hand is bleeding, my arm is bleeding. She has to be scruffed firmly to do it and then I dont have enough hands left. Dang it. Next victim, I mean visitor, will be helping with this.

My beloved has been trying to plan a surprise birthday party for me since April and it all fell apart tonight when my best friend has to be in Montreal on Oct 15th. Poor guy!!! He has tried sooo hard. If any of you are near me, you are invited with one condition: You have to bring a dish, soda, ice, utensils, plates, whatever. Pick one. I really hate to put a condition on an invite - tacky to say the least. However, most you folks know we are on one income right now and that barely gets us by.
