I got something like 75 signitures when my lawn care company was under fire...stupid neighbors....and we were zoned ag. and as one zoning person said, they could have a hog farm and you're complaining about a small compost pile and them parking a truck on the grass? ...I so wanted to tie a billy goat over on that side of the yard. mwha ha ha ha... just call me Gretchy Clampet.

Guess what I found this morning? Snake skin! Not near the garage/nestbox area....down the hill next to the baby pen. Interestingly enough I would never have noticed this except as I opened the gate to the baby pen, a piece of wood that has been propped up near the big coop for a year or so, fell and landed right on it...very strange.

I'm not surprised.....I do know I have snakes. I live in the boonies and have a half acre of heavy brush in the back part of my yard.

Will get a camera today and see if I can get it set up tonight to start filming tomorrow. For now, that nestbox has been completely removed.

I keep hearing like chewing noises, and something got knocked over.
Dang, I think there is a critter in my walls or under house or something.

Could just be a mouse, but, ewwww, yucky.

I hope its NOT chewing on piping and springs me another flood!!!

DH is far far away.
And its our anniversary today.

I kinda feel like crying, but I will be strong.
And go to work, and hope I don't cough so I can stay there.

I rather stay home and play with pony or something.
But, I get home early, so I can play then, if I'm not too tired and take a nap instead.

Get me off my pity party! I don't like parties!!

Its good DH is spending time with his mom and sister. His sister tortures him!
He's helping them out, being Mr Fix it and all.
They need him, and tell me thanks for sharing.

I should be there with him. But I gotta work. And he didn't know he was going to get laid off, again,
and so when they offered to feed him, and we have no income, well the timing was wrong for me to go, too.

Once upon many years ago, we used to spend the end of August together up there. And go camping and site seeing, and go to lakes
etc. Then I started having kids, and the travels stopped. And DH worked a lot, travelling for his job all the time.
In 1997, we took a family vacation up there again. It was great fun!
We were going to go back the next summer. A drunk driver had different plans for us, and ran over our son, injuring him badly.
So, we never went. And well time just goes by.

Yea, I feel like crying, times are tough, the economy is not good,
and well, I guess i better quit feeling sad, because others have it much worse, and I need to get out of this party!!
