By his math he has 6 years to get hired by NASA and get on the mission team. I asked if he thought his socks will still fit then? No mommy, but i'll need to go to spacecamp ASAP to practice.

Of course as a mom I'm now forced to ponder 7 years with a child off planet... pass a tissue.

He's homeschooled now, except for the chunk of time when I lived at the hospital having his brother, he's been with me every day, all day. Which of course is why he's so far ahead, this year we added home ec as MY brain needed a break from it all. a full year of planetary and galactic studies will do that to a mom.

Checking in at 5' 2 1/2" although I have always said I'm 5' 4". Thats how tall you had to be to fly aero vac so I learned to stand up real tall and stretch whenever I had a physical where they didn't take you word for it. Neener neener
