First day of school went good

cool beans...now off to bed!

My coworker loves it when I call in sick.
She much rather stay at my school and do my job rather go to her school and be around all the drama.
Yesterday, when I left, I told her I might actually come back by noon, that the boss said I could come back if I could make it back by noon.
She was not happy when I said I might come back.

I don't like feeling people are happier when I go away.

So, I went and got DH's meds for him rather than go back to work after the doctor appointment.

I'm actually having an easy week, because Monday was a holiday, worked Tues, left early Wed, now I work two days and its the weekend again!

When my son was 16, he was run over by a drunk driver.
He suffered a badly broken femur and a rod had to be placed inside of it. A year later it was removed.
His back was also broken and he had huge loss of blood from internal bleeding.

He never fully recovered fram that, having a lot of pain.
After high school, he got a job and has worked several years.
The last few years he has been self employed, but has not paid into state disability, an oversight.

He is in so much pain right now, he can not work.
I do not know what to do for him.

He needs money to take care of his son and make his house payments.
I do not know if he'd be eligible for SSDI, its a long process, and it requires recent dr visits confirming disability, and well, its not guaranteed he'd qualify, even though I feel he is disabled enough.
I guess starting the process wouldn't hurt, but he needs to be able to go to the doctor to begin with.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I may be able to get him some help?
