She is probably ok today, but she has many health issues that could use some prayer. Roo's mama is often in the hospital, so a good day for her is a good day for all.

Yes ma'am.

Maple, my momma has a disease called Behcet's. Here is a link to some info if you get bored.

Since they put her on the "synthetic marijuana" (the real stuff is not yet legal here in Iowa) she has been doing better, it has helped her appetite and seems to be helping her chronic joint pain and headaches as well, but if you can spare an extra prayer, it is always appreciated.

Synthetic is probably fine since it is the THC in pot that helps.

Good morning!

yesterday after I got home from work, I was so exhausted, when I sat in my chair, I fell asleep and woke up about an hour before bedtime!

And now I am pages and pages behind. Getting ready for work right now, so not sure how caught up I can get.

But I did see a few responses to my post yesterday morning, thanks peeps.

Looks like I am going to be a busy paperwork person, I have two cases to work on.

And my dad, oh my gosh, son called me at work yesterday, told me not to panic or anything, but he had found my dad sitting on the floor in the hallway at night and couldn't get up. Apparently, he had slipped off his chair in his bedroom, couldn't get up, so he scooted him self to hallway, and called for my son. My son had to spin him around and get him braced against the wall and lift him up.
Oh my! When can I start crying?

You posted that while I was still typing.
Why, what happened?
I'm behind.

A major power outage in CA knocked out power to more than 2 million people, in CA, AZ, and Mexico. Outage reached from the Southern part of Orange County to San Diego to Yuma AZ (spent my teenage years there). A couple of transmitter lines were severed.

Oh, I did hear the tail end of the news saying something about that, but I wasn't sure what they had said, I heard them say something about MX and power outage, but never watched any more of the news, ha ha, I was a sleepy lundy yesterday.

I love me EE's, they are not evil and lay me green eggs.
I can tell the hatcheries are busy busy busy, there are still chicks coming into the feed store.
Used to be, a few years back, you could only get chicks early spring, that was it.
Now, the feed store still has them coming in. And a lot of different breeds they never had. Used to barred rock and RIR's.
Now they have them all! Different breeds all the time. I'm waiting for the silkies to come in again, so I can replace Cotton and Sheila.
But, there will never be a chicken like Cotton again, she was especially sweet.

ok, I gotta get ready for work, and catch up later.
