Morning!

Weekend recap:
Friday left at 4 so we could get down to Deer River (~2hours south) to look at/buy a new bull. Purebred 2yo red angus, hand raised, serviced 20 heifers 100% effective this summer, named Doc Holiday. He's so nice. Found out that when we turn on the headlights the electric brakes lock down on the trailer, so had to drive home with no trailer lights. Obviously God doesnt want us borrowing that trailer. Theres a history of issues with that thing no matter what pickup we use to pull it.

Saturday took the old bull, "23" to the sale, sold him for $11 less than we paid for Doc Holiday.

Sunday was football, so I made oatmeal beer bread with that nasty stout and it was AMAZING. Not quite enough yeast tho so I will make more this week. Made a nice hearty beef and barley stew. Read a lot, it rained quite a bit here so outdoor activities were limited.

morning Deb.

Boyd, you hunt for work? hunt for your clothes?

Yep, I woke up way too early too.
But, at least it is closer to time to go to work now.

Just send me some strength

I used a basic bread recipe, that had a tiny note on the bottom of the page telling how to turn it into oatmeal bread. I wanted to use up that nasty beer I bought last week so used that in place of the water.

Morning all, I am hopelessly behind, is everybody ok? Algae home?

Finally cooled off some so we went to the lake saturday AND sunday. Now I'm feeling beat up and achey and I have a bajillion things that need doing. So off I trot to go be productive. WHERES MY COFFEE?
