Yes. But they really, really discourage it until you're past at least your mid-thirties, usually. Sometimes you can find a doc who will do it younger without sending you for a psych eval.

I am really annoyed with the fact that a 22 year old with 3 kids can her tubes tied no problem but a 30 year old with no kids would not be able to or it would take tons of drama. Its obvious not a medical risk, just a societal expectation of producing offspring.

I think it is more that they are afraid that as the biological clock ticks down, a person will then want to reproduce (whether they should or not is a whole different matter) and then sue the doctor when a reversal doesn't work and they can't have kids.

Lawsuits make the world go round, you know.

Ok, they were questioning DH if he REALLY wanted the snip. Erm, yeah, mid 40s, has 8 kids already, wife is pregnant with twins. He was getting the snip.

Upon google-fu-ing that, it appears to be warm Hershey's syrup, more or less. Put over biscuits.

Ummm...sort of. It's a Southern thing. It's almost like a pudding, but sweeter, severed hot over buscuits. The best of comfort foods:
