Office Work, Part Deux: Professional Mayhen

Ok, I"m on page 1983....slow down a minute......

Quick weekend recap:

Fri - ruined my child's day. No football game since he didn't get appropriate sleep over arrangements made. Went home and made eggplant parm and watched season 1 of Deadwood. Good Lord that Tim Olyphant is HOT!

Sat - slept all day. I think I was getting sick. Got up and made chocolate chip cookie bars and fried chciken for dinner. Busy busy busy! Oh and my kid killed a raccoon the size of a small dog - and I mean cocker spaniel not taco bell dog small!!! It was heading towards the compost pile not the coop, but I'm now on edge.

Sun - rounded up the last of the land lease cows only to discover the guy who leased the land branded one of our calves that was CLEARLY with one of our cow. ANNNNNND he tagged our cow like it was his!!! If my SO hadn't noticed the brand we would have lost a cow and calf. Today he's waiting on the "cow police" to come up from Cheyenne and decide what is to be done.

Are there any honest people left in this world????

Exactly. Indulge them if they feel like being divas, and if they are like 99% of service techs I've met, they will be morally insulted and will knock off the diva behavior.

I am really annoyed with the fact that a 22 year old with 3 kids can her tubes tied no problem but a 30 year old with no kids would not be able to or it would take tons of drama. Its obvious not a medical risk, just a societal expectation of producing offspring.

Correct. That and the real drama of wanting a reversal a couple of years later.

In other news, we have "soup Day" every Thursday. There are 18 of us who take turns bringing in homemade soup to share. One week a person brings soup and another brings bread, it's a rotating schedule, so by the end everyone has made two contributions but everyone has had 18 healthy lunches

It's a wonderful thing.

This week is my soup week and I can't think of what to make.

Suggestions?

I keep telling my Tim that THAT Tim is older than him so there is still hope if he quits drinking beer right now...
