Next person who thinks Beale is an odd name for a dog, I'm going to direct them to Laree's post. But I like Laree's dogs names, so I guess that doesn't help.

I'm not going to lie - it hurts. I was there with DH when they did it and I really felt bad for him. (The hospital here is Catholic, so he had to have it done at the clinic with local anesthesia only.)

Then I looked at my giant c-section scar and didn't feel quite so bad.

I'm feeling much the same.

Plus, it's a snip and keep the parts, they just aren't functional vs removal of the parts entirely.
