I'm exhausted. Got to bed about 5 or 6 this morning and got up at 8:30. Had a long tele meeting and then drove 8 hours.

Mrs. dacs and dacs' third grandson and fourth grandchild was born this morning about 3:53 am Pacific time. He is 8 pound 4 ounces and I think 19 inches and some change long. Chunky little bruiser. Mom and baby are doing fine. Big brother is going to be a good big brother. He is very tender and loving with his baby brother.

I do not envy your sore arm. I have sore shoulders and pecs from throwing wood all day yesterday...literally throwing it out of the woods in the direction of the trailer before loading, unloading and stacking it.

I miss having enough money to use propane.

yeah, I take 2 or 3 pills a day if you count the baby asprin

the bottom number worried them as last time it went over 100 I was hospitalized.. but I promised to starve myself, and loose 40lbs somehow.

I had mine last year, and a flu shot in the other arm, then I had to work and lift all that produce

if I get the flu shot I get sick for at least a day.. last time I didn't, I caught swine flu and annoyed SouthernBelle, Saddina, Debs, Mapes N Purple Chicken for 22 weeks... See how often these folks are on this time a year?

Flu shot on the 19th of october.. Promise!

Throwing a friend under the bus -- A work Quandary..

Dear buddy o mine...

It has been on 5 occasions now that I have asked you to teach your router operator how to work the basic Kan Baan System. Takes 5 minutes. 2 of these were verbal, 3 of these are now written and trackable via lotus notes 8.5.

The inability of the operator to follow SOP has caused work shortages, slow downs and overbuilding of product not needed costing the company $$$$$. It is part of my job to of course make the company money and prevent shortages, slow downs and loosing money in general. As a matter of fact, my part of the pie is split up slightly different than yours. We still overlap in this area though..

And in this area we are failing.

All I ask is you do your job. Give this op 5 minutes of your precious time, cuz he won't listen to me.
