ok, so this is how it goes:

me to girls: It's S's b-day do you want to call her and tell her happy b-day?


my youngest: who's s?

....exactly.


With a little reminder than they said yes, we called and left a happy b-day mssg. A couple hours later S called back and my oldest talked to her while I was in the grocery store...I shopped and my oldest stood by the cards cuz she likes to find all and everything to do with cats. The youngest wants nothing to do with talking on the phone...unless it's mommy, basically. oh well.

We had a big stack of mail waiting for us. In that stack were two postcards, one from Ender and one from Ronin. Penpals are fun.
