GPs are very poor mothers, so their babies are very precocious.

They can "sort of" be litter box trained, but not nearly as well as a rabbit.

A lot of guinea pigs end up in shelters because kids get tired of them and they live a lot longer than a hamster.

I miss having GPs too. Our first pet together after we got married was a GP; we had him for 8 years.

DH just walked through the office and I mentioned that my shoulder hurt. He offered to kick me in the shin. I offered to kick him in the nuts. We didn't kick each other.

Pancho did the trilling noise thing yesterday when me and my dad were in the laundry room talking (where he is at).....it was cute! I will definitely have to get another.....

That's kind of what I was thinking. More storage plus steps for the cat - win/win all around.

Yeah, but you WANTED to...

I used to have GPs too. They used to whistle/squeal when they heard the fridge open.

Yeah, I can't believe how big it got in two weeks, and he's been complaining the past week that it hurts to wear shoes. Hence the asap apt with the podiatrist. Its all red around the base like its angry.

Mine did too.

I loved to let them out to run around the house and buck and squeal. It's funny when you have a couple of them and they run around like a little guinea pig train.
