I love the school year because it gets them out of the house. Then they get bugs constantly. Argh.

Ooops, clicked the button too soon. Hope your 1st gets better soon and than 2nd isn't sick!

Thanks Algae! Our kids rarely get anything that requires antibiotics (knock on wood), they just get these pesky viruses. I know it could be worse, I do.

My heathens get tonsillitis CONSTANTLY. Or did until dr gave up and just said take them out before we got that mess started. EVERY kid has done that. Stephy was starting the same routine, dr gave up and said take them out and take Annika's out also. Pedi agrees that we should get Thomas and Patricks out sooner or later.

My house is silent... I can't remember the last time I was home alone.

I love the sound of nothing.

Best thing I ever did was agree to get DS#2's tonsils out. And my own, altho the doc could have been a bit more clear about stopping the morphine after 3 days and avoided me being #1, baked out of my mind and #2, having wicked withdrawals.

Orchy I hope ur kiddos are ok!

Yeah, just took us 6 kids getting sick with tonsillitis CONSTANTLY, and the brats would pass it back and forth so we never have the "clear" weeks to get them out. New pedi, Steph started that same crap, dr looks at the records and says the day she's done with her antibiotics, they are taking her tonsils out and would I like to schedule Annika for the same day?

I get there is some apparently benefit to the tonsils. But when 2 kids get tonsillitis, then because they are dog sick, get strep on top, then go to pnuemonia all at the same flipping time, I don't have really fond thoughts of tonsils. Esp since Annika hasn't been more sick after getting them out at 18 months.

Fired up the ipod, shined the sink. Now to deep-six the living room and dining room. I got some new curtains for the dining room yesterday and I'd like to get them hung before I have to get DS from school.

I"m plotting and planning the next painting project too. I love winter, it's when I get to make the inside of the house pretty

We have to get the barn done first. 3 night of temps dipping below freezing means I only have a couple days left to get the fence posts for the chicken runs moved. So much to do...

Guess that means more coffee
