Good morning

It is such a good picture though sparkles!

I have a new slogan: Will run for beer! Ran a 5K Saturday night with 500 other folks. Spooky, couldn't see the pot holes, there were the usual strollers and kids plus wheelchairs and dogs to navigate through, oh and two sets of flood lights set up to illuminate the road were turned towards the runners instead of the direction we were running so we were completely blinded. Brings new meaning to run towards the light. I signed up for the night run because I thought it would be cool in the evenings by now. Yep, it was a cool 80 degrees. Good news, there was a ton of food and the beer was flowing freely. Orchid, I didn't even come close to your time but, I finished and didn't fall even once. yeah!

The rest of the weekend was uneventful. Son came home for drill and will be home for a week. Tomorrow he is having wisdom teeth pulled. Woohoo

Hi Orchy.

I don't run. Unless I'm chasing a nughty kid, then I have pretty decent speed. Oh and running thru the yards in the dark with loaded guns, I don't fall and remain miraculously un-winded.

Dog has decided she belongs in the house, not so great for my allergies. Cat walked 1/4 mile to the neighbors, had to go get her last night. Not so great for the allergies. I'm a bit sneezy this morning.

Cow died. Not sure if that'll teach DH not to feed them bad corn or if it taught the cow not to be such a pig since no one else bloated and died with her. Too bad too, it was our other nice 3yr old, not as nice as the one I milk but pretty close.

Morning all! Busy busy busy weekend.

I gathered logs and (FINALLY) started innoculating them with fungi. I have had these mushroom plugs in my fridge for ages.

Unfortunately, the wood was still a bit hard, so I went through two drill batteries and didn't even get one full bag of plugs in. Methinks this is going to be a week-long project. I also need more logs.
