I LOVE peanut brittle. My DH ADORES it. My kids ADORE it.

I can NOT make a decent batch for love or money. It just always stays gooey and icky.

I don't understand people who keep so many roosters in their flock that they terrorize the girls. Once you have boys pairing up and targeting girls together, something needs to change.

I get annoyed when people post about their roosters bullying and harassing the hens. Roosters are a dime a dozen. Only the nicest most well behaved "cream of the crop" should stay. People who keep a dozen roosters with 1 or 2 dozen hens.....ridonk.

A roo is a bully and jerk to his hens after the teenaged hormones, no way, no how, he is a stew pot roo. A mean roo produces mean chicks who turn into mean adults. I'd rather have "ugly" barnyard mutt well mannered chickens than beatiful to primo standard mean chickens. I can fix the standard sooner than I can fix the temperment.

Speaking of which, there is a blue Orp hen who is going to be in the stewpot. She's gotten NASTY to every chicken and person other than DH and me. Plus she lays a dang green eggs, so I know she's not an Orp anyway. Why the heck can't I get a NICE Orp????

Now, now, now, have some chocolate and chips you don't want McFlys "d"h to get really nasty. If I had someone doing data entry for me and they destroyed the hard copies I'd lop off their head and send the remains to the chicken pen for disposal. Just saying...
