The weekends are so quiet in here. Nobody works on the weekend ? How is a girl going to get her daily giggle ?

We're around, but busy weekdays make for busy weekends.

Today I have swim lessons with the boys, and then we all are going straight to Chino Valley with another family for an all-day pumpkin fest. Itcy hay rides, itchy squash plants, itchy corn mazes.

Yesterday I cleaned a super dirty and dusty coop. I had a tshirt and a sports bra on--and didn't get a chance to shower unitl late last night.

I then discovered I had a band of ouchies across my ribcage where the sports bra had collected dust and then rubbed all day. Owies!

DH and Matthew went to a Virginia Tech football game today. I'm having a quiet day with the other 3 kids. Other than cleaning, my big activity today is the Parent
Advisory meeting for Parents of Gifted Students. I love that my kids are in the gifted program, but I didn't know it involved my participation. Do meetings really ever accomplish anything?

Getting a lazy start to my weekend. Need to get busy though. I start classes again on Monday and need to get this house organized better. I only have two loads of "clothes" laundry to wash but several to fold and then a bunch of blankets.

It's so nice outside though I don't want to do anything.

OH my hubby fixed the heat on my car yesterday. It hasn't worked for 2 winters so YAY!!!!!!

We have three things we want to do today that are pretty much mutually exclusive and one thing we need to do late afternoon. That doesn't include all the work Mrs. dacs is doing for our major life event coming up in just over a month and the things I should be doing.

Good morning!

I had fun at the Fall Fest at my school with my grandkids last night.
But, boy oh boy, chasing after a 2 yr old that doesn't come or want to stay with you is tiresome.
And trying to teach her you have to give a ticket, play the game THEN get the prize. Not just run around to the prize boxes stealing all the prizes.
I had to give so many prizes back,

Once she got away from me and ran down the hall and I got stuck in the crowd for a few secs and thank goodness some one caught her. Oh my!!

Today I will take neighbor and her sister to post office. They need to mail letters to Sweden and Japan, and I have no idea how much that costs. The post office is by the ocean, so it will be a sight seeing trip.

What up Dac?!! anniversary or something?!!


And, its my birthday!!
