Most of the time I see little difference between babies and evil birds. They are both demanding and without proper precautions will poop in your Cheerios at least once a day, either literally or figuratively.

Patrick would not be a good Diablo. He sleeps or eats. Nothing else. Thomas will at least stay awake and look adorable. As adorable as an evil bird will look anyways.

Do we need funds for Charon or are we just driving over him in the bus?

Oh you guys will LOVE this. Do you remember our Lab Cody who died this summer? He was given to us by my aunt because she couldn't handle him...yeah...he was like the sweetest, smartest dog ever. Anyway, she's gone through so many dogs and cats the last ten years it's unbelievable. Every single one she gets has "something wrong with it", when in reality there's something wrong with her - she's just not an animal person. So after dumping a dog on everyone she knows with every excuse under the sun: Yesterday I posted about a stray dog that needed a home on Facebook, and she had the GALL to message me to see if it would be a good dog for HER!

I had to exercise great self restraint.

Our insurance is going up by 13.7% next year. This means I will *gasp* have to pay over $1000 out of pocket in a year (yes I know I'm blessed/spoiled/all of the above so why complain) so I want to know if it is cheaper for the company to pay that extra or to hire and train my replacement.
