Well, yesterday I served 510.
Today is nachos, and I will probably serve a bit more than that.
Its a little easy, because I set up the food on the counter, and they help themselves to it, then go to milk box and get milk, and then to the garden bar for their apples and carrots. today will be corn on the garden bar, and they can make mess of that, so a lot of cleaning up inbetween classes.
I like each grade to have warm food, so the hard part is setting up after each grade before the next grade gets there.
I have 15 minutes between each grade. The younger grades, it can take more tahn 10 minutes to get the 60+ students through. But once I hit 3rd grade, I can get them through in about 7 minutes, and its amazing how many things I can do in 5 minutes.
Take out empty milk crates, organize the milk, fill counter, fill garden bar, wipe stuff down, sometimes I even get a few dishes done.
