Not being Portuguese I substitute liberally i.e. sausage and jalapinos, black beans. Tonight I was hijacked by a sick hubby that wanted soup instead of the baked chicken I had planned so I used chicken, hamburger and jalapino sausage.

Yeah and the hawk made another flyby while I was out there feeding everyone some leftover rice. Figured out that the silkie had run under the tiny coop to hide. I had looked under there the first time but didn't see her. Mama (not hers) silkie was under there hiding and I have to wonder if the black silkie was under mama.

I like allrecipe.com - get a lot of recipes off of there. In fact the ham and bean I did tonight came from there.

Looks simple and tasty, thighs/tenders, parts is parts.

I was also going to stuff mushroom caps with spinach and goat cheese.
