Grant shares a room normally. Right now, he's sleeping on the futon in Charlotte's room. But with 10 kids around, 2 get sick, they'll all get sick eventually.

But if it's an ear infection only, those don't spread too easily normally. Tho' how they both got it, I don't know.

Erm, no, you aren't the only one. But it's waxy colored discharge, not brownish/reddish/black.

Once again I thank heaven that my kids have NEVER had an ear infection.

OK, DS#2 had one once... it was so low-grade that the first doc missed it.

Only issue with ears here is the fact that I'm decently certain potatoes would do well in them

DS#1 had a ton of ear infections before he turned a year old. Then I inquired about the pneumococcus vaccine. It wasn't standard practice then so they had to order it in, but after the vaccine he never had another ear infection. He always has had and still does have very waxy ears. DS#2 I think had one ear infection as an infant, that was it.
