Office Work.......

So, I have my outfit for conference next weekend.
short purple skirt, black tights, leather boots, puka shell necklace and bracelet

not the outfit coworker and I shopped for the other day, but clothes I already had, except for the boots

I might want to change to different shoes, the other ones I saw, they'll be easier to dance in, cuz I am not use to heals, I only wear flats

I was outbid on the emu egg. I am happy and sad about that. We'll see which emotion wins before the auction is over.

My postal lady met DH in the driveway to tell him about the box of eggs she didn't bring with her. Since I really didn't want to leave them there until Monday, she made a special trip to bring them to me (PO was already closed). We're expecting a blizzard Monday....

So I baked her ( and me!) a bunch of cookies and wrote her a nice thank-you card. And now my eggies are fresh and resting until time to 'cook' them.

And DH wasn't aggravated. He just sighed and rolled his eyes. Guess he knows me by now.

I want cookies. Lori made me go to the feedstore to stock up for the blizzard. SIGH. Such a meanie she is.

I also swung by the store and picked up all the stuff I forgot yesterday....and got stuff to make homemade guacamole. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Sure hope the power doesn't go out. I expect it won't start snowing until I am at work Monday and I will just get screwed trying to get home at the end of the day. Once we're there, they are really bad about ever letting us leave. Last time we had bad weather they came over at 5:31 and said "go home! weather is bad!" and i get off work at 5:30 and was already putting my coat on.

Maybe this spring i will get something different. I want to get rid of the ducks completely........maybe goats? Little tiny cute ones........or quail. I have considered Quail quite a bit.

Planning on moving my bunnies outside this spring. Will build them a nice little tractor/hutch set up and stick their butts out there. I need fewer animals in the house and they are the only ones that have the option of going out.

My bunny lives outside. He has a nice two story cage, with a sleeping area. I also cover it with a tarp during rain or when it gets really cold.
It might not get as cold here as it does where you are though.

See my new boot clogs? In black on sale at Sears. Curtesy of my ma's store credit for returning a couple of sweaters she didn't like. But they were on sale for $69.99 and now I see them on the computer for anywhere for $60-$100. Guess you don't really know unless you try them on.

Mom bought herself back the same stove.

Except it's not on sale anymore.

But I asked them when it would be on sale...tomorrow but not as much as she originally bought it for and they wouldn't give us the sale price from before. I explained the 2 guys were knew and told my mom they were unable to install it (they are not allowed to drill through tile floor to put the tip preventer thing in) and then it stuck out farther and mom didn't like it and they said they couldn't get it back any farther? so my mom was led to believe that they were incapable, new, didn't know what they were doing, had a hard time communicating with them-they were Mexican...nice enough guys but not the right guys to send on the job with a woman who already is hard to communicate anyway...dog pill takin woman...

And ma kept SHUSHING me as I'm trying to tell the lady what happened and had mom let me communicate I would have seen to it she get the stove back at the sale price she originally bought it at. But NOOOO...she just confused the sales lady even more and this was one of those hard ball mean lookin ladies too. It wasn't until I stepped in that the lady was understanding what mom was trying to convey...sigh...

And mom got tired by the end of the day and blamed it on me and my girls. ha ha ha....all the girls got out of todays "adventure" was a hot pretzel. Geez, then we had to go to Menards and get her a toilet seat since hers broke...iy yi yi... she wanted to bring her dirty ol seat in and I was like, no way, it's elongated and white...that's all you need to know. Then she tried to leave it in my van tonight and said she'd get it later except I picked it up and said, no way, your takin your toilet seat with you! Then I said, here, let me toss your old one in my dumpster but she wouldn't let me cuz she thinks she needs it for measuring...

I've fixed a toilet seat before I told her. She won't listen. She hold on to that broken one till the day she dies.
