Hi guys. Thanks for thinking of me today, you all are so sweet.
Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I am at work for just a couple hours this morning, then going home to spend the day with my girl before we go to her appt. She's definitely ready.
maple, your mad squirrel story made me laugh out loud! Your poor doggy. Did she ever chase a squirrel again?
That reminds me of the time our Cody dog first encountered a cat. Mind you, he grew up in a crate 23 1/2 hours a day at my aunt's house and had never been allowed off a leash or cable before he moved in with us. So we're letting him run around the yard and what does he see but our big Sneaky cat, sitting in the driveway watching him, and Cody thinks "Oh boy! I think I can chase that thing!" All 75 pounds of him came barreling right up to Sneaky and old Sneaky never even got up off his butt, he just reached out with one paw and raked poor Cody right across the nose.
Needless to say, Cody has had a very healthy respect for Sneaky ever since.
Buffy, I'm counting calories and I've cut back to almost nothing on the sweets, but I refuse to give up my wine. I'll exercise extra every day just to have it. I thought maybe that made me a wino but my friend Mary assured me it just makes me an excellent planner.
