Ya'll, I did my chores, cooked dinner, took a shower and then propped myself up in bed to read my Conan the Barbarian book. It is not a boring book, at all. And yet I still managed to pass out, still sitting up. I finally woke up long enough to set my book & glasses down safely, and stretched out to sleep. After 11 hours of sleep I am still tired, gloomy, and want to go back to bed. I don't think it's the weather but I could be wrong.

I only had one scary dream, where a gas line ruptured and was shooting fire into the air. I thought we'd be okay except that every now and then chunks of metal and building would get blasted into the crowd of people. The worst part was that the dream wouldn't let me change it or scoot away from it. I don't like it when dreams won't behave! One of the people that got squished looked just like my ex. He's long gone, though, literally as well as figuratively. Don't know why I had to see that. And some of the firey smoke plumes reminded me of Challenger. All real-world kind of things that should've let me grab and twist the dream. But it was untwistable.

Anyway, much as I want to chat with Buffy, I feel grumpy and have actual work to do. Including recuing the copier, which someone broke
