Seriously. Check out my new world wall clock. It was 1.99. I also bought one for the chicken coop, so I can see how late I'm running in the morning when I'm out there

Also, if you've ever wondered what I stare at while at work all day....now you know.

Oh Nella cubicle life.......I hated it. I had a job working as a coding analyst once and it drove me nuts to not be able to see who could walk up on me so I kinda popped off a couple of the fabric covers over my computer screens so no one could sneak up on me. I got in trouble

and had to put them back. The only good part was it irritated my boss lol.

After listening to my mother and sis-in-law wax poetic over Ikea for a tedious HOUR, I have vowed never to enter one.

And after seeing the totally awesome most comfortable chair ever that Mom bought, I was singularly unimpressed. It reminded me of a chair I assembled for a dollhouse long ago....

Ya'll can keep your Ikea madness, I am immune.

I don't want a yak. I can't keep an emu. I can't find an alpaca that can come live with me. I do have baby chicks though. And very unhappy teenage chicks that no longer live under a lamp and it's gonna get darned cold again really soon. Plus, it may snow tonight/ tomorrow morning.

Obviously, I'm in no better spirits than I was a while ago.

It doesn't help that the copier/ fax machine is still dead and it may be tomorrow before they can get it fixed. Lovely.

I'm very grateful that tonight is pizza night and then a new episode of Big Bang Theory. Plus there is a slice of Key Lime pie in the fridge for dessert. I was suposed to eat the KL pie yesterday, but I slept through dessert. Silly me.

I lie in a hammock and watch my chickens have free-play, and a cat forces me to abide her company. So dacs is not unique on the cat/hammock thing. Except that I have chickens that push the cat away and lay on me on the hammock.

No he doesn't. He sleeps with his books and his favorite box turtle skull.

Ooh, I love it. I actually have a window though....above my dry erase board, next to the door. so I get a half second warning before they pop in LOL. We talk over the walls to each other and I can see the two across the "hall" from me through my window or doorway. We talk across the hall too. The last office we had had full height walls, so it was like having an office. Glorious. The job I had before that had really short ones. Sucked. These are about 5.5' tall or so. I can see the tall people's heads, but thats it.

Actually, looking out my window I see out the big window also....so its not bad. I get natural light and everything

They're big cubicles.....probably almost double the normal "small" sized ones you usually see.

That ia a nice cubby. I worked in what felt like a prison isolation cell....way in the middle with 6 foot walls and no noise only the sound of a pitiful cry once in a while lol. Then they made me travel out to San Jose once in a while, now that part of the company was great but hubby wouldnt move all the way over there

Lori...should we confiscate Nell's zebra calendar and send it to ya? Will that make you happy?

Yesterday was a day... Nutella and Tostitos actually DO go well together. Don't ask me how I know....
