Post of pic of your ankle tattoo and everybody will forget your other persona.

Ya don't believe me, huh? It's supposed to have musical notes around it, but they're getting blurry in my old age - the worm is still green, but the hat has lost its straw color!

I'd love another tat, maybe a ladybug??

Just because I love the job she did, here's a shot of my current pedi. It's my one vanity, I love pedicures and have one every four weeks. The shop I go to is wonderful, $22 for the pedi (and it's nice) and then only $3 for the design!

Nice Teva tan, huh? Now I'll sit here and continue to sweat.

Teap! My gosh, a WORM?????? GREEN? Wearing a freakin' hat?
And just when I was recovering from that, I have to see your red toes too? You are far more wicked than I thought. Do you give lessons? I have a gift certificate for a pedicure and I was just going to go for pink, but I see there are other options.... (I lead a sheltered life.)

What was your tattoo when you first got it? I get the worm, but is there any meaning(sorry if I missed an explanation)?

I have three - posted before, but.......
The first I got on my 25th B-day. I had been planning for awhile. I even got similar temp tattoo to make sure I'd like it.

On my right ankle right at the sock line. Hurt like OMG!!! but I didn't want it high. i wanted it to look like he was standing on my sock.

My second I after my Uncle and Cousin were killed in a car accident in '03. My uncle was fond of wolves. So I got this for him. it took awhile to find the right one, but I think it looks cool.

Then in 06 I got a wild hair and decided to get another one. Had it put on my lower back. Husband helped pick it out. I didn't want anything "girly" like butterflies or flowers, so I went dragons.

Only a year later did I learn tattoos in this "location" are commonly referred to as "tramp stamps". Oh well

I'm wanting to do two more. One of the Marine bulldog for my grandfather who died in 06 and another for my dad who died in 05. Plus Jeff has always wanted to get "matching" ones. But we can't settle on a design we both like.

AGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [running away screaming]

Oh, I thought that was you, Buff - cool tat, it'll look better once it calms down!

Sbatz, ankle tats hurt like you know what, don't they? I thought they were slicing me with a razor - I passed out! Literally. I'm afraid of needles - well, I was. I grew out of that finally. But I really did pass out, and the tattoo artist told my husband at the time to hold me down while he put the smelling salts under my nose, because I was going to react violently - he was right, I punched and kicked as I came to. He asked me if I wanted it finished, and I said of course I did, I didn't want a half finished worm on my ankle! The color fill in doesn't hurt near as much.

He's a Tequila worm, in a straw hat, whistling Tequila!

Hey, it worked at the time. There are five of us Tequila girls, with the same tat. I never see any of them anymore, that was back in the day, we're all dispersed and old now

Maybe the pain from the tattoo pen made her age 40 years?.... Still, YIKES!

It DID hurt!! I didn't pass out. I did curse A LOT! That has got to be the only part of me NOT covered with a nice fat cushion!!! The one on the lower back did almost make me pass out. But the guy said it's more cause I didn't eat. It didn't hurt too much. But it was real itchy while it was healing.

Buff - that is SOOOOOO what you get for searching out kinky stuff on the net! LOL!

Better, still having weird "no money" induced stress dreams. Last night I dreamt I was on a task force to find out what happened to 300 Jewish women during WWII. Somehow I got transported back in time and was in the middle of the killing until I was found out as a spy and I got sent to a camp where they were cutting off heads.....it got really gross and graphic and I tried to wake up but when I fell back asleep it went right back.

I hate those dreams. The horrible ones are always the ones I can't brain bleach away........

Oh Batz, I know what you mean about those dreams. I bet you woke up feeling horrible and really disconnected from everything normal. Don't know where those things come from, especially if you don't watch movies or read books of that ilk.

Belle, that was nice of you to ask Batz about that. I myself was rather self-centered on ugly ladybug depictions.

Sooo, here's my conclusion. Even though you knew tattoos hurt like crazy after your yogidog or whatever, you went and got the wolf one in honor of your loved ones? What does that tell the rest of us about Batz?

Speaking of tributes, that's where I got the ladybug idea. During my hubby's daughters funeral last month, a ladybug landed on his black shirt. And when his other daughter visited us last weekend (for a very special Fathers Day), a ladybug landed on her - on a wide open Atlantic beach, not a tree or plant in sight. So the ladybug has become a special symbol for my hubby and his other daughter.
