I'm at home for a bit...

My friend Carol came up from Kenai Thursday
I worked Friday but found out I passed my certification test that I took the week before the class.... Kudos to me.
Spent all day Saturday fiddling with the hot tub, I've never had one and the learning curve has been vertical. But we got it filled, rinsed, drained and refilled in time for the party.
Sunday we had lots of friends, some came and stayed others did the tour and moved on to other things, a good time was had by all and I really liked entertaining in my new house.
H2B and I took Monday of to recover, and maybe spend a little quiet time together, but DD#2 was sick so we ran errands all day instead. Addressed some honey-do's and household projects, and did a little window shopping for out future yard/deck furniture purchases and possibly a new grill. Most of the cleaning got done after the party so there wasn't much of that to do and all in all it was a pretty relaxed and fun day.
This morning started with a nice trip to the oral surgeon for an extraction and bone graft in prep for a dental implant. Then I got home just in time for the cable guy to come fix the daughter's tv hookups, then the spa guy came and fixed the temperature sensor in the hot tub.

Now it's just me, the dogs, the cats and 27 fuzzy chickies relaxing in our new abode.

ahhhhh, I have a whole hour before I have to run to the office for a mandatory meeting grrrr

I missed the spammer.
I have only a shower too. I can take a bath at my neighbor son's if I want, but right now he doesn't have any hot water.
And I like to crash after a hot bath, not walk down the hill in the dark, so I haven't bathed in a long time. I know TMI!

DH finally agreed I could get some blue gg laying chickens, at first he said I have too many chickens, but I pouted.

So far my little roo is not attacking humans. He's so small I don't know if any of my hens eggs will actually become fertile, except maybe Cotton and Sheila, they are small like him.

That's two so far.
